Will 3M™ Window Films protect my furniture from sun damage?
Nothing can be completely protected from sun damage and fading. However, you can drastically prevent damage from UV light, visible light, and solar heat using 3M Window Films. Using 3M Films can possibly extend the life of your furnishings as much as two to five times.
Does UV protection wear out over time?
We have created our films to maintain their high UV protection throughout their use. After testing our film on a glass sample, we have found that the UV transmissions were still under 1% after 10 years.
