About Energy Control Consultants – Window Tinting Knoxville

Energy Control Consultants was founded in 1985 with an idea that there was a market and a need for high quality window film backed by superior service in and around Knoxville, TN and Chattanooga, TN. The end goal was to minimize the need for decision makers to look for a less than optimal option. ECC had a strong desire to be the go-to provider for window tint in Knoxville, Tennessee or window tint in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 33 years have passed since we decided that people needed a well-trusted source for window film in Knoxville and the same source for window film in Chattanooga, in that time and our commitment to excellence in product and service has only intensified.

Today, Energy Control Consultants (ECC) continues to be the leader in the solar control window film, decorative window film and security window film market. Paul Shamiyeh, President of ECC, joined the company as a partner in 2002 and purchased the company from Brent Williams in 2017.

Paul has a degree in Broadcast Communications from The University of Tennessee and spent 17 years as an executive with Motor Products Company, Inc., an automotive parts distribution/retail chain in Tennessee. Paul’s vision and goal is to work hard to offer solutions and creatively solve problems for clients. He knows that when this goal is accomplished, the clients become “Raving Fans” and word of mouth regarding window film quality and installation will help the company continue to grow.

“The professional team members at ECC are trained and equipped to facilitate a window film installation of any size–from the smallest Chattanooga residential window to the multi-story Knoxville commercial building. Our staff strives to provide the highest level of service available. Our promise to you is that we will pay careful attention to the smallest details and deliver the best quality window film and service possible. The success of our company is a direct result of the commitment and quality of our staff and I am privileged to lead such a talented assembly of quality people,” states Shamiyeh.

Paul is married to Stephanie, who is also the Controller for the Company. They have two children, Jordan a sophomore at The University of Tennessee and Hollie a freshman in high school.

Paul is an avid VOLS fan and loves watching his children play baseball and basketball at their schools.
